  • Arrive in Israel at Ben Gurion Airport – Begin touring toward the north or stay one night in the Tel Aviv area, depending on flight itinerary and arrival time in Israel.
  • Dinner & Overnight: Tel Aviv or Galilee
  • Day 3

  • Breakfast at the hotel Mt. Tabor – Pilgrims will visit the Basilica of the Transfiguration, the site where traditionally Jesus was transfigured. The view from atop Mt. Tabor is one of the most breathtaking panoramas in Israel. Mt. Carmel- Best know for the contest between the Prophets of Baal and the Prophet Elijah in 1 Kings 18:19-20. Zippori (Sepphoris) – was a major second/third-century city that was also home of Joachim and Anna, and the birthplace of Mary. Many magnificent mosaics ever discovered in Israel are here, including one known as The Mona Lisa of Israel. Mt. Arbel- From this mountain one can look down on the Sea of Galilee and view the many places where Jesus ministered to the poor in spirit. Kfar Kedem – How did the people of the 1st Century live? At Kfar Kedem you will be given the opportunity to experience some 1st Century ways of life.

  • Breakfast at the hotel Tel Megiddo -This Tel consists of twenty civilizations built one on top of another. The Jezreel Valley surrounds the Tel, giving the pilgrims an in-the round view of where the Battle of Armageddon will take place. Nazareth – Jesus grew up in the village of Nazareth until his ministry began at the age of 30. We will stand on the precipice where Jesus was threatened to be thrown off…from here you will have another magnificent view of the Jezreel Valley. Gamla – At Gamla, pilgrims will view the ruins of an ancient city destroyed by the Romans in 67AD. Look down on the ruins of a synagogue that Jesus more than likely taught in. Listen to the distant waterfalls and marvel at the large vultures and eagles that soar on the heights above. Tel Bental – Stand atop a volcano that rises 3400 feet above sea level and see the plains of Syria where many modern and ancient battles have been fought. Caesarea Philippi (Banyas) – “Who do you say that I am?” Jesus asked his disciples this question at this very spot. And Peter said, “Thou are the Christ, the Son of the Living God”. And Jesus replied, “Upon this rock I shall build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it”. (Matthew 16:16-18)

  • Day 5

  • Breakfast at the hotel Sail across the beautiful Sea of Galilee Capernaum – The fishing village which served as home during Jesus’ Galilee ministry. Mount of Beatitudes – The traditional location is on the northwestern shore of the Sea of Galilee. Tabgha – The Church of the Multiplication. This is where the feeding of the five thousand took place. The simple Chapel of the Primacy stands on the shore of the lake. It was built on the spot where the risen Christ appeared to his disciples, who were fishing on the lake. Bethsaida – This was a fishing village on the Sea of Galilee that some of the disciples came from. Afternoon – Yardenit – Experience baptism at Yardenit, in the Jordan River, located at the southern tip of the Sea of Galilee.

  • Day 6

  • Breakfast at the hotel & check out Beth Shean – This town has been inhabited for over 5000 years. God allotted this area to the tribe of Manasseh. It contains ruins from the Roman and Byzantine Periods. Qumran – This area is the location of the caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found by a young shepherd boy. Legend has it John the Baptist once studied here with the Essences. En Gedi – was a source of renewal and strength for David and his men as they fled King Saul. David would replenish in the Living Waters of En Gedi as we replenish in the Living Waters of God’s Word. As a deer panteth after the water brooks, so my soul panteth after thee, my God. (Psalms 42:2) Dead Sea – The warm waters of the Dead Sea with the salt content 28 – 30 times stronger than any ocean is said to offer many medicinal remedies.

  • Breakfast at the hotel & check out Masada – Once the Palace of Herod, and then a refuge for zealots, it is considered by some the Gamla of the South. Eventually conquered by the Romans, Masada offers a magnificent view of the Dead Sea. Large Crater – The motor coach will take the Scorpion Accent, which was originally a Roman road, to the place where we will begin our walk to the rim of the crater. Beersheba- This is the capital of the Negev desert and one of the places Abraham lived. Jacob also lived here and the scripture speaks of him twice leaving here for Haran and then to Egypt. Arad- The temple in Jerusalem had been destroyed by the Babylonians but the temple of Arad, modeled after it, is still here. It was made exactly the way God instructed in the book of Exodus. We will visit here and learn about the commitment these people had to the God of Israel.

  • Day 8

  • Breakfast at the hotel Mt. of Olives – The first stop will be the Mt. of Olives where Jesus ascended into heaven. Take a moment to reflect back to that day and time while your eyes gaze upon the panoramic view of the Holy City. The presence of God is all about, cast your eyes toward the Eastern Gate, and envision the triumphant return of our Lord in all His glory. Garden of Gethsemane – Pray among the olive trees as the Lord did nearly 2,000 years ago. What an impact this very night has had on the world when the Son of God submitted to the will of the Father. We will then head up to Mt. Zion – visit the Upper Room where Jesus served the Last Supper. Envision Jesus and His disciples lounging at a low table, listening to their Master as He taught about the New Covenant. In addition to the Upper Room, Mt. Zion is where it is believed that the tomb of King David is located. Church of Saint Peter in Gallicantu – According to Holy Scripture and Christian tradition, Jesus was arrested in the Garden of Gethsemane and taken to Caiaphas’ house on Mt. Zion.

  • Breakfast at the hotel City of David – The story of the City of David began over 3,000 years ago, when King David left the city of Hebron for a small hilltop city known as Jerusalem, a tour through the City of David brings visitors face to face with the personalities and places of the Bible. Temple Mt. – After a hearty breakfast the pilgrims will go up on the Temple Mount. This is the most sacred piece of land in the entire world. Here is where the Temple of the Most High God once stood in mighty splendor and could be seen from miles away. The Temple was destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD. The Dome of the Rock and the Al Aqsa Mosque has been standing here since the 7th Century. Wilson Archaeological Park below the Temple Mount near the Dung Gate. The Davidson Center is also located there. It has three floors and houses a theatre gallery. This gallery contains a screening of a unique high-definition 10 minute digital video (the first available in Israel), describing the Jewish pilgrimage to Jerusalem during the Second Temple period.

  • Breakfast at the hotel Rabbi Tunnel – This tunnel runs underground along the base of the Temple Mount. We will have a wonderful tour and learn how the stones were crafted and moved into place to create the amazing foundation of Temple Mount. Western Wall – The pilgrim will have a wonderful time of prayer and meditation at Israel’s most sacred site. Let your request be known unto God and place the written prayers in the cracks between the stones. Pool of Bethesda and St Anne’s Church – Healing of heart and body happens in this place as the beauty and serenity surrounds you. Church of the Flagellation – Where Jesus was beaten by Roman Soldiers. Via Dolorosa – on this road Jesus fought his way to the cross…determined to make it there for you and me. Jewish Quarter – experience the sights, sounds and smells.

  • Breakfast at the hotel Yad Vashem – The home for the Holocaust Martyrs and Heroes. While heading to this next destination we will pass by the Government Center and the Knesset – Israel’s Parliament The Israeli Museum with the Jerusalem Miniature from the days of King Herod and The Shrine of Books (the Dead Sea Scrolls presentation). Garden Tomb – As Jesus was led through the Damascus Gate, he struggled toward Golgotha (Gordon’s Calvary), where He was crucified for all sinners. He was buried in the Garden Tomb, from which he arose after the third day. Victory over hell, death and the grave is ours, because He has risen. Last minute shopping.
  • Dinner & late night check – out at hotel; leave for late night flight to USA; Jerusalem/Tel Aviv
